Finally, I have my own Charger

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share that after wanting a Charger for the last 16 years, I finally was able to pick mine up last Monday. It is rough and will need a lot of love, time and especially money, but I finally have one. As soon as the restoration begins, I will open up a build thread.

At some point, someone put on a landau roof, which was big in the mid-late 70s. At least they didn't cut a porthole window in.

Thank for all your kind words guys! I do think it is a fairly solid project, but we wont know for sure until we have it down to bare metal. Im probably gonna go triple black and always wanted steelies (how original  ). Although the car seems so solid that I might keep it as is, and just get it running and driving and drive the wheels of it that way. Would be easier on the wallet... Regarding the wheels, I dig these wheels alot, so I might repolish the outer lip and have the center painted black. As far as I can tell they are indeed American Racing Daisy's. And I love the current stance on the car

Im guessing the Landau roof is indeed what they went for. I am glad to tell you that it will not make a comeback on this car haha.

I will make a detailed video about the car within the next few weeks and post it here for those who are interessted.
