New 68 Charger in Scotland

Presenting my new pride and joy!
Originally a 318 car now has a 440 4bbl.  Unfortunately there's no fender tag but dash tag confirms original 318.  The paint was done by the previous owner - I was planning to go all black but it's growing on me and is a great job so leaving it for the moment.  Again the Boyd Coddington wheels are not what I would have chosen but I'm getting used to them! 
It's running like crap at the moment - hasn't been driven much for a few years.  Had it out today and the PS fluid overheated, leaking round the cap and splashing around the nice clean engine bay!  Pulled the belt and drove home without PS.  So a few bits of tinkering to do but not far off running sweet!
3 point seat belts on the way - I've been lurking for a few weeks and the previous posts on seat belts have been very useful.  Already investigated and I do have a threaded shoulder hole which is a bonus!
It is joining a 74 Camaro 383 Stroker in my garage.
Looking forward to asking lots of questions and finding my way around my first Mopar!

Very nice fellow Brit! Leave the paint it as it is.....it screams late 60s/early 70s to me. Love it!....even like the wheels......but it def need some higher profile/bigger side wall tyres.....too much gap between the tyres and the arches.........oh and some spacers to bring them further out and nearer the metal work so you loose that "sucked in" look !............but that's just my tastes. Good luck with getting it running right. Cant wait to be driving mine!!

Sorta funny....
I owned a 76 Camaro for 9 years and sold it in 2001 to buy a wedding ring. In 2000 I bought my 70 Charger. I had some Camaro & Charger overlap for a little over a year.
Thanks for the pictures. Nice looking car. I'll bet you must get attention there, sorta like a naked man running down the street with your hair on fire. That is a mixed blessing though, in either of THOSE cars, you can't really hide from anyone!
My Camaro was set up with the best of "low dollar" handling upgrades. BIG sway bars, stiff bushings and shocks, IROC steering box, 16" wheels with sticky tires...It was a great handling car. I wanted the same for the Charger. The Dodge can be made to handle well if you spend money in the right places.

Strangely enough Richard Hammond and Chargers always seem to end badly...

He has a great love of the Gen-2 Charger but they don't really love him though...

This is the green R/T was brought to the Isle of Sheppey in Kent for a Top Gear issue.
After driving Glenn's magnificent Charger around the quiet lanes of Kent he then bought the hideous 69 in YUK green.

He had many issues with the car as it was a rebodied R/T 4-speed manual with 4.10 dana...
After several years of grief and rust issues he sold the car to a friend of mine.

Yes after another extensive resto, it was converted into a very nice General Hazard car...

I did some work on the Dukes Charger to get it ready for a TV program here in the UK.
It was the Graham Norton show where the Dukes and Daisy both flew over for the reunion!
I was so happy to get an invite and meet the 'Dukes team' in person.

Bo and Luke are timeless and created the greatest Charger show on Earth too...
