Welcome from another UK member. Will we see it at the nats this year at the pod?

Just checked the dates and probably going to be away on holiday  :'(

I'll maybe have tinkered enough to want to show it off in 2019!

Great looking Charger GrazerX!
Is that a burnt orange kinda exterior colour going on there?
Yep, bigger tyres and a 21st Century engine compartment upgrade methinks.

Hi - I used to own this car, many years ago.

Most of the story is here - never took the website down.

Great to see some old pics!

I've realised I haven't posted on here since I've done a fair bit of work on it!

Here's some updated pics - gone all black  :coolgleamA:

And here's Richard Hammond driving it on The Grand Tour (broke down dissapointingly quickly when a brake caliper came loose...)
It's in the "Lochdown" episode on Amazon Prime.

Looks awesome. Going all black and the Torq Thrusts was a good choice! 👍
1968 Charger R/T, matching numbers 440/727, black with green top and interior, currently getting restored by me

 :iagree:

Not to mention that there won't be too many that can say they had Richard Hammond drive their Charger
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

Looks great. How carefully did you measure your garage space before buying? That's a tight squeeeze.

Nice one Grazer!

Your wonderful 68 Charger has a lot of history lol.

Strangely enough Richard Hammond and Chargers always seem to end badly... :popcrn:

He has a great love of the Gen-2 Charger but they don't really love him though... :slap:

This is the green R/T was brought to the Isle of Sheppey in Kent for a Top Gear issue.
After driving Glenn's magnificent Charger around the quiet lanes of Kent he then bought the hideous 69 in YUK green.

He had many issues with the car as it was a rebodied R/T 4-speed manual with 4.10 dana...
After several years of grief and rust issues he sold the car to a friend of mine.

Yes after another extensive resto, it was converted into a very nice General Hazard car... :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I did some work on the Dukes Charger to get it ready for a TV program here in the UK.
It was the Graham Norton show where the Dukes and Daisy both flew over for the reunion!
I was so happy to get an invite and meet the 'Dukes team' in person.

Bo and Luke are timeless and created the greatest Charger show on Earth too... :notworthy:
