I am working on the trunk of my 1973 Charger SE.  Can't figure out where the trunk light goes.  Any help would be appreciated!!  :'(

At a side of the latch. Its a tilt switch kind socket assembly

This is my car. I upgraded with powered later latch

Now that I know where the trunk light goes, what do I do with the wire that comes out at the bottom of the trunk lid?  I've seen photos of it attached to the hinge with a wire tie and also just hanging loose.  Which is correct?

mine got a wire tie... but my car was assembled in Venezuela, not in USA.

Well, I think the wire tie looks better than just having the wire hanging loose.  Thanks for the quick response!

Trunk lid light goes right next to the latch on the lid. It is a mercury switch so there is no need for a switch to activate it.
