Both build sheets are missing the sequence and vehicle order number information ( thanks to mice both upper left corners eaten).  Fender tag is still  trying to  be located.  How do I find out the sequence and order number of a superbird?  Or can you?  I know the build date, vin, engine vin, body vins, tranny vin, etc....

has the car been registered with any of the wing car clubs, they might have the info  :shruggy:

the sequence number is almost random as they were built among all the other b-bodies at the plant

the vehicle order number & VIN number were assigned in batches for Superbirds - what's the VIN?  Got pics?

I have found no correlation between the VIN, the J number or the sequence number.  On the contrary, there appears to be plenty of evidence that they are not related by any conceivable formula.  The only thing I have seen is a small relationship between the J number and the dealerships to which some cars were shipped.  If you know the original dealer and if they sold any other birds there may be a chance of narrowing down the J number.
