Maybe I'm searching for the wrong term but so far no luck in finding what seal I need for the brake rod from pedal to booster. Is there supposed to be a rubber boot here or something else? Thanks!

These pics don't show it very well but there is a boot in there.  Jim

Ok I bought a plate that I thought was needed for the rubber boot but the bolt pattern is much bigger than what bolts to the firewall.

Any ideas on what I need here? Thanks.

Some of the master cylinders don't have the holes for the screws where the rubber boot attaches.
