Suede lacquer for dash

I recently had my dash repainted with suede lacquer and it ended up pretty rough.  Feels sandpaper like.

I've read another with this issue toned it down with 3000 grit sanding.

Maybe I could satin clear coat it?

Any suggestions or should I just leave it as is? Sorry for the poor photo, all I have at the moment.   Thanks!

Look in pats thread.. he sanded it and hit it with some regular paint on top.

EDIT Looking at it.. it was actually green69rt that brought it up and a few posts down Pat shows where he scuffed with 800 and over painted. Second last page of his current build.

Ok I found that post. So maybe mix up some flat blue and spray it over what's already there? Thanks

Careful spraying anything other than lacquer, it might react with the lacquer base that is there.
