I like it. I like the color with the white. nice contrast. Not 60K plus like it but that seems to be where these cars are selling these days. Seems everything is a one of one or a barn find these days also. If Galen says so it must be true.

Nice car...not for the price though, sick of hearing this 1 of 1 crap, it looks like any other blue 68 Charger (shit blue at that!), what it needs is a repaint in black, keep the white top and interior, get rid of the blue interior pcs turn em' black, add a red butt stripe, put some redline tires on those road wheels, strip out all the AC crap, dash included, toss the slush box, install a 4/5/6 spd then you'll have a true 1 of 1

lloyd3

Gosh! Mine is the 4-speed version of this one (with maybe the exception of a C6B Frost Blue interior and very few numbers matching components). Is mine worth $60 k too?  Was shit blue a special order back then?  I've even got the Galen decode print-out for my car, does that make it more valuable?

Shit blue? really? I respectfully disagree

A383Wing

They have a rubber hose with a fuel filter for fuel line inlet to the carb......and they can't even route the plug wires correctly into the valve cover stand off for plugs #6 & #8

That's what makes it a 1 of 1! :2thumbs:

The air conditioner option will not work very well without the pump on the motor option

This is a beautiful car, but I'm so tired of hearing "1 of 1".

How many "1 of 1's" can there be???

All of them apparently.

Sorry but anytime I see this "blue" it's usually on some geriatrics Buick or Cadillac...even on this Charger it's not appealing, just my opinion, yours and others may vary?

Kern Dog

I like that blue. It beats the "Petty Blue" by a mile.

c00nhunterjoe

Seems high for all the flaws easily picked out in just those photos. Look at the right front shock bolt for one....

Mytur Binsdirti

Pretty car, but that's a lot of dough for something that needs a lot of detailing & additional expenses.  No "V" in the stripe for one.

Mytur Binsdirti

For comparative purposes, here's what that engine bay should look like with all the a/c hardware....

Ghoste

I'm tired of the one of one bs too.  I wish all these people carrying the Galen registry around and waving it like its the pedigree to some bloodline link to the throne would get it through their heads that when Galens registry says its one of one, what he is telling them is that they are the only ones who paid him to have a car exactly like that one in his registry.  There could be 10,000 unregistered cars just like it.  Or zero, but it still doens't mean that it proves the car to be the only one ever built that way.

Aren't these 1 of 1's really '1 of 1 that Galen has documented'?

99.9% of the time when Galen quotes a car as being one of one, he means one of one that he has documentation for in his database.

In other words, one of one, until another is found.

I'll admit that UU-1 probably wouldn't have been my first choice, but after owning and driving it for 22-years now it has grown on me a bit.

I've also owned a number of "High-Impact" color cars (Roadrunners & Superbees) and they were fun too, but this works for me now.  There are certainly other colors that I would have liked much less.  As far as geriatrics go, one shouldn't throw too-many stones as I suspect that term might apply to a goodly number of us here in fairly short order.

It's a different color than what is usually seen. Personally, I like it.  :2thumbs:

My opinion is that if anyone thinks this is shit blue, they must have shit for brains.
But that's just my opinion.
As for the 1 of 1, I think most potential buyers will know that a piece of paper from GG will not increase its desirability and will be promptly overlooked.

Gee...i've never seen one like that before. Maybe ghetto wheels too!!

Sounds like jealousy to me.

1 of 1 maybe. Maybe not. PW. Auto pilot. Rocker moulding. Certainly puts it in low production #s.

And i have one nearly identical but in RR1 with rear window defog also. Probably wont find another like it. 1 of 1 maybe. Unique definitly.
