Need a good turn signal switch

My original switches were all smooth in operation.  They had a detent that made it easy to manually cancel when changing lanes.  It's the "W" shaped parts in the one below.  The new ones I find have a hook that catches and requires excessive force to cancel, and when it breaks loose, it sometimes locks in the other direction.  I see the good ones offered for other years or applications, but only the crappy ones for a '69 Charger.  Anyone have the good ones?  Did Chrysler actually use this design?

Here's the crappy one.

Here's the good one.

I bought an old stock replacement / repair cancel plate off Ebay for a whopping 10 bucks that works perfectly. The only other option is finding an NOS complete unit with wire harness, but be prepared for a  $400 price tag to do that!

I use a 69 polara one and just remove the extra wires. Cheaper and the same other than those extras.

I just got my new one from YearOne..  The picture below shows my old one and the one from Y1.  They look identical to me.  I just looked at the Y1 site and the one they have pictured looks like the yellow one you show.  Mine is all white and came in a package with M&H Electric Fabricators on it.  So I guess Y1 sells several venders product and it's a crap shoot on what you get.   The M&H part number is 02857241.  You might call them directly.  It cost $46 from Y1.
