Need help identifying wires

I'm in the process of applying Dynamat on the interior of my 69 charger.  I noticed two wires that were cut my previous owner.  They are located on the drivers side near the parking brake floor.  It's a green and black wire combo that goes to the rear of the car, I found the other end when I removed the rear seat back.  And they were cut there too.  So I'm not sure what they are for?  I'm guessing back up lights?  They are fairly heavy gauge, maybe 14ga.  Since both ends are cut, I'm not concerned, but since I have access, it would be nice to put these wires back where they belong.

Thanks, Russ

Nope, these go into the harness next to the wires for the dimmer switch.  Try again!

Trying to help and I get that....  what is this charades?  :shruggy:

Nothing was said of where they came out of, just "cut off on drivers side"... A bonded together Green and black on mine run from near the radio then down with rear light harness to the back. They even have a two wire joiner of their own in that area.

Green and black as separate wires IN the multi wire rear harness are for left turn signal / running lights.

If they're cut at the back seat, why not just follow them to where they go in the trunk?

Sorry Dude, didn't mean to to be a smart ass.  Just spent the day trying to clean all the adhesive from my floor pan,  I think the fumes kinda got to me. I did a quick search to follow where the wires may go, but there are no trace of them in the trunk area.  Just thought I'd see if any you knows where they go to. I'll try a post a few pics, that might help shed some light. I do appreciate your input, thanks again.

As I stated.. if they are the green and black wires in the harness (ie the multi pin plug at the bottom of the A pillar /E brake) the green is the left signal light wire and the black is the common for all the lights. If they are cut then someone swapped in something else if your tail lights work correctly..
