Nothing to say really.  I just got out of an emergency appendectomy and my Charger's in sick bay.  Life could be better, but it could also be a lot worse...

Unfortunately, the amount of traffic on this site has gone waaaaay down. It's almost to the point of....

What do you want to talk about?

I'm still in the cycle taking my perfectly fine running Charger, working on it, making it run worse, and then spending months tinkering and testing to circle in on a perfectly fine running car..... then repeat.  I'm not posting questions because I'm the one causing the problems and figure I should work on them a little before asking for help....
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I thought a bunch of guys sold their cars and moved on with other projects...

Only reason for saying something is for the fact that things have slowed down. I've noticed quite a few have migrated over to FBBO and are posting material there, but not here.  I visit FBBO only by recommendation of other members, but still prefer this site due to being simple to use and there is no membership nonsense to deal with. Being on a phone now makes a difference than a computer.

Just seeing where everyone else is at, with hopes of waking this place up a little.  Where's Skip when you need him?

What's different about FBBO compared to here?

Hey, it has been a tough first half for you, huh?

Rest up, Myk....things will improve.   :2thumbs:

Lol.  There's always a chance that any surgery, no matter how common , can result in your death.   And I kid you not, some of the only things I kept thinking about as the anesthesia was kicking in, was you guys and my stupid car and how I might not see all of you again.  My momma always said I could never get my priorities straight!

I'm still here also, just about every day since it kills time between calls & jobs at work. Yes things could always be worse, had a guy at work last night went down the road for lunch, got back, parking his car, died in the car & hit three other cars. They think a massive heart attack, so yes can be a lot worse. Really makes you stop & think, & all G.M. sees is, saved money on that person, next.

They have a politics section there and it is very popular.

You have to register to post (or just read it), and acknowledge no butthurt or delicate feelings.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

ws23rt

I like to read current postings (as a daily routine) and it only takes a few minutes to do so on this site.
What I see is that FBBO and FCBO are the same except bigger. (maybe even FEBO :scratchchin:)
And BTW there is just a couple of clicks between the sites so whats the beef?  :slap:  Look in on both and enjoy the cars we all like.
I don't think the site's conflict.--They complement.

myk

I don't think they conflict either, rather this site specifically caters to Chargers, the greatest car that Chrysler ever built, while the other sites are about everything else...

I think the growth of FB has hurt all sites like this one. There are plenty groups you can join there but I still prefer to ask tech questions either here or on moparts
