2nd gen door lock knob issues?

  Okay I bought 2 sets so far, both chrome. One set threaded one not, neither worth a crap? Can someone point me to a pair that just screws on the car like it should? (I don't need a door lock knob that sticks up way higher than it should.)

Neil I think I got mine from Vanguard. They're black and screw onto the rods just fine. Should be available in other colors.

I'm a PA, not an MD or DO so no doctor here.   

Scratch that, it's not Vanguard, it's Vans Auto. I got them  mixed up. They're on ebay and have their own site. There's plenty sellers with the same stuff though. Megapartsusa.com probably has them as well.

Many are and some are that chromed plastic.

That is where I got mine from.....I swear this car is fighting me tooth and nail. I've bought plenty of good parts from Vans. Thanks it's time to hack fit then.
