Had to replace the master cylinder on my 68 Charger big block car, standard power brakes, what is the correct finish for the lid? Cadmium?

Power drums?  Cadmium or natural

Power discs?  Booster & entire master black

How do you guys keep the clip from ruining the paint on the black cap?

First time I tried to put it on it was tight enough to blow the paint off  :brickwall:

yellow zinc dichromate for the lid.- ( same for the booster ) natural bare steel /  iron for he master cylinder body itself
bare steel for the hold-down. black phosphate for the bolt
