New to the art of hot tub maintenance. Using chlorine. Any switch to bromine?  Better?

I started on Bromine and went to Chlorine. Just make sure your skin can handle it. Bromine can cause rash or irritation.

If someone uses it other than you, change the water and power wash, with bleach, to get all his dna out.

I converted mine from bromine to Spa Marvel.

It is an enzyme based product. No smell, no itching. You do have to spa shock every couple of weeks but the stuff lasts up to 6 months.

Been using it for about 3 years.
