Was reading Collectible Automobiles magazine today and they say 2nd Gen Base model Chargers came with rectangular 120 mph speedometers. I think this is a Coronet style dash but I have never seen one in a Charger have you?

JB400

All 2nd gens got the rallye dash.  Only options were a clock, tach, and the tic tach clock.  Coronet based cars could get the rallye as an upgrade

Just 6T9 CHGR

They got incorrect info.... :rotz:

If that was true, maybe could be 150 speedos?

Naaah, the Charger was an upscale on B body Dodge over the Coronet. They were in fact XP or XS on VIN ( Premium as standard model or Special being the R/T ), so even being /6 it got somehow a Premium trim over the Coronets which were WL, M or H... low, medium, high... ( S if R/T ). These got rectangular speedos even being R/T but 150, and just the Bees getting the Rallye Cluster as standard equipment. I think the Rallye Cluster was optional just on 70 R/T but not earliers ?
