I'm trying to locate the correct fasteners used to attach the check-mark chrome trim & SS trim pieces for the 69 Charger sail panel.    Does not have to be OEM, repros are fine....

To my knowledge, the Check-mark's attach with speed nuts, and the SS trim attaches with either push on spring clips or another type of S-clip with a bolt/nut.

I see MrMoparts has a trim kit, but to me it does not seem to have the correct parts  --  http://www.mrmoparts.net/products/clip-kit-vinyl-top-moldings-68-70-charger.html

Any help would be appreciated !  Thanks ...  ;D

That is the clip set that goes on the long piece of SS trim between the check-mark trim and the quarter window trim only.  The check-mark trim is attached with three speed nuts.  I don't see them sold separately but haven't looked very hard.

You may find what you need here...

Ok, thanks --

1.) RE: trim set --      But looking at the body,  I only count  5 holes in the body where the SS trim attaches to the car.

The trim kit comes with 8 spring clips and 4 S-clips ...

For each side, do I use 1 S-clip w/nut on each end of the SS-trim,  and then 3 spring clips go in the middle   ?   Seems like 1 clip spare each side .....

2.) RE: speed nuts --     Ok, so the 10-24 is the correct thread size for the speed nuts for die cast pieces  ?

1.)  Yeap, same on mine.  Holes for three spring clips (end towards quarter window), two S-clips at end towards tail of car.
2.)  Fairly sure, if you want to be dead certain just go to Lowes, Home Depot or Ace hardware, etc.  They have all those little drawers with special parts.  Just find 10-24 nuts and try them.

All these fasteners have some kind of seal on them but yu could probably use some butyl chalk tape if nothing else.
