Hi Guys,

Is anyone still making a vintage Group 27 red cap AGM battery?  My vintage battery was TurboStart, but it appears they don't make it anymore?  Some websites still list it, but everyone is out of stock. I was told red caps are the correct color for 69 Charger.  Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Checked my contacts and nothing found . . .  :popcrn:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Yes, Turbostart no longer does classic car batteries. They sold what ever they had to Mancini and Summit.
There are only 2 places that I know of that still does classic Mopar batteries:

and

less but no warranty ... they say they do but they don't. Ask me how I know.
Having said that, it is the first one I ever purchased and lasted something like 8 years.

I called AntiqueAutoBattery.com today and talked with a lady from Sales.  She told me that they 'build to order' the batteries and current lead time was approximately 4 weeks.  She mentioned that they recently purchased this company from the previous owner and are working to get caught-up on a backlog left from the ownership transition.  I decided to go with a locally sourced red top Optima battery and start driving my 69 Charger again....    Thank you to everyone who viewed this post and to ODZKing for the info!  Enjoy those Mopars!
