1970 charger hood latch color

What is the correct color of a 70 charger secondary hood latch?

If you mean the latch thats under the hood (after youve popped it from the grill), then its bare steel, kinda like galvanized.  At least thats how mine is, if its supposed to have paint on it, I would venture to guess it shoild be body color.

Ya the one under the hood after it's open. I have several latches one is bare steel and the others are painted. Wasn't sure what was right. Thanks for answering
