Good Day,

The dash lights do not work. However I can still turn on the dome light. Is it a bad switch or could there be another reason?

Thanks for any help!

Try rolling the wheel up and down briskly a few times. It may clean off the contacts enough to work.

:iagree: If "wearing in" the rheostat doesn't work, it's likely a broken wire in the rheostat; dome light activation is separate from the rheostat so a faulty switch can still activate the dome light.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Take it apart first, I was able to fix mine in about 2 minutes and hasn't failed since.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

You can by-pass the rheostat if its not working, instead of spending money on a new switch. The dash lights will be full bright, but they are not that bright anyway.  :Twocents:
