It's for a 500.

Stamping look legit??   shruggy

My Daytona had the last 8 stamped on the pad, not the full vin.

Pad looks too smooth, should have crosshatch pattern from being milled,or maybe I can't see it.

Is it normal to have the XX29 stamped on the engine block? I thought itís normally the last 8 digits of the VIN.

Like I said, my Daytona had the last 8.

"9B383272"

And this vin in question is a Charger 500 number, too early for a Daytona.

Need to have a C-500 owner chime in.    yesnod

for the first half of the 1969 model year - the full VIN was stamped on engine & transmission ('til mid-January '69)

for the poor quality of the picture - it looks pretty "normal" to me

My 1st C500 which had its original motor had the complete VIN stamped on the pad. Font on this one doesn't look quite right...

So what does a factory stamping look like? If its manually punched then it might not look the same every time correct?
Thanks
