There WAS at 8:02 CST last night, I doubt there's any now. Covered one car (for preferred parking) and two people for meals and extras... and with my wife allergic to shell fish a cheap price for me to get her near the front of the line before food gets cross contaminated and we pull out the epipen !

Do we need to get race tickets or are we spending the race in the infield?  Can we see the race from the infield where the cars will be?

If you are going to the track, there is a special ticket that gets you into the infield.  You buy it through the Wellborn website.  Cars will be parked in the original Grand National garage (the bridge).   I am told you can see the cars coming out of turn 4. They have the new covered fan / party zone area that has a very large big screen inside.

Hi

We are 3 people coming over from Norway (Europe) to attend the Aero Reunion.

So A rental is the only car we have.

Is there anyone that can give us a lift on the track in Atlanta.
Do we need tickets to the Atlanta Raceway?

Thank You

Kim-Eirik

I'm from PA, registered and going barring some unforeseen problem.

We are coming in an RV and I'm looking for suggestions for where to stay Wed night into Thurs morn near McDonough. I've made reservations at Wind Creek for the rest of the stay near Alexander City, but I could use some help for Wed.

Thought it might be fun to maybe get caravan going down. Plan to go I86W, I79S, SR19 in W.Va., I77S, I85S, to Atlanta.

Does anyone have a two sets of "ride along" tickets they would like to sell?  A friend and his wife had their car rejected and they really want to attend. They're riding along with me, but need entrance to the Museum, mansion, race etc.  please pm me if you can help. Thanks.

Just pull into the shopping center parking lot behind the Fairfield McDonough, 115 Mill Road. Where all our trucks and trailers will be parked at the host hotel.. supposed to be security to boot.

Okay, thanks. If this was mentioned before and I missed it, I apologize. Do we need any safety equipment for Atlanta, helmet for instance? I'm guessing we won't be going that fast, but I haven't been there before and don't want to be unprepared.

birdsandbees

I was told no helmet required... just do your own thing.

If you live in the Seattle area and are going, PM me with your email address. Some folks are on Facebook, some on this forum, not others are not. It's like making a mix tape off records, CDs, 8 tracks and MP3.  Email appears to be the most commonly used communication mode. Maybe we can coordinate our departures and routes.  In the words of CW McCall, good golly it looks like we got us a convoy.

Ok...got a question for all you Nascar guys! When we attend the race at Talladega on Sunday night to cap off our Aero car experience, what time Sunday should we expect to be on our way back to Minnesota? The race is apparently 188 laps in length and I know it's dependent on crashes, flags, weather, etc...but we're trying to figure out how far North we can get on Sunday evening after the race. Thoughts?
