I know its not quite the same car but the one above sure makes this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Plymouth-Other/302977444756?hash=item468adceb94:g:LygAAOSwfplb~FtD:rk:16:pf:0&vxp=mtr&autorefresh=true look expensive especially with that amount of rust and the large pile of coin it will need to get it looking the same...let alone to fully restored condition.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

WINGIN IT

What's that a picture of , the one with the red painted line on it?

WINGIN IT

Number is for Fred Engelhart, why does that name sound familiar?

Sure does! I looked at this car in person. It's a decent driver quality 'bird that has had some patch work in the rear quarters.

Gary,
Is it close enough to check the date code on the jack mechanism rivet and the jack hook for small or large font and vendor code?

It was at a live auction about 2 hours from where I live, but I'm not near the car now. Quite frankly, once I saw it was the tubular style, I didn't go any further since we've determined all Lynch Rd cars had the Y style...

Y1CHARGER

What's 1070? is that the date sold?

I wouldn't think that the jack would be a deal breaker :shruggy:

The reason I wanted to check out the jack is the Superbird is advertised as a numbers matching survivor!
In addition one of the bullet points in the auction states " CORRECT SPARE and JACK with ORIGINAL TRUNKMAT".
The ad says feel free to ask questions.
So I sent a question asking for the date code of the jack and the vendor number on the hook?
I got a reply back real quick stating it was a numbers matching survivor and to bid accordingly.
The jack hook and the jack base are of fresh new paint where the mechanism looks to be older or original?
Maybe the new owner will share the information with us on the jack?
The jack would not be a deal breaker but would help us with information on what the Superbirds originally came with.

Looks like a real nice Superbird.. But, far from a Survivor... It has been repainted, and by definition, isn't a "survivor", it is a real nice Superbird.. I'd like it in my garage for sure and drive the livin' dickens out of it..
