Cluster lighting  blue lenses. They are ( or were ) available at many restorer shops and also of course ebay as kits for the full cluster set quite ago

Thanks for all the good links. Your are quite handy with the searches! I couldn't figure out what they called those things. Those should perfect for what I need. This wiring stuff is coming along pretty well thanks to you guys. Feelin good about it.

I was wondering if the foam gasket I see in some of the terminal connectors is necessary. I'm debating if I should make some or just skip it. I'm not even sure if this one had one originally.

foam gaskets are usually for exterior conectors such as bulkhead. Interior conectors don't carry those and really no need for that. I guess thats the rear harness conector to underdash harness plug at kick panel.

Makest sense to me  I think this one and the body light connector are the only ones with these connectors, at least with the standard options. I'll probably end up doing all that wiring as well. These harnesses aren't too bad to build other than the few oddball terminals and the price of the terminals in general.

yeap, pretty much the only 6 way conector on car. Bulkhead are 8, and the rest you can find around are 2, 3 or 4 ( last one for console )

my 3rd gens get that same one for rear harness

left signal ( green )
right signal ( brown )
positioning light ( black )
gas sender ( blue )
constant positive for trunk light and some models also dome ( pink )
Reverse light ( violet )

those are the only 6 functions required on rear

Isn't there one for the license plate as well? I can't quite remember. Mine didn't work if there was one. I may do that one next. Mine is all there but might as well. That one has that weird wrap around it though so I'll have to find something like that for it.

License plate uses the same positioning/parking lights signal

I see one cavity left empty... reverse or fuel sender ?

On no that is the harness for the A/C heater controls. I haven't started building the body light harness yet.

Oh true... that's another 6 way plug LOL. 3rd gens just have the rear harness one

Well, half the ac control harnesses I see are melted and sketchy looking so it's probably better that you don't have one lol.

73/74 gets same problem on blower lever switch. Points inside the switch gets hot because are not able to handle the blower load ( it's a big sucker ) untill get prongs hot and melt the plug. I installed 6 relays on my car, hidden all around the dash to feed high and low beams, and everyone of the blower speeds, low, mid, high and heater speed ( AC cars get just one speed for heater function )

That's right I forgot about the problems with the blower motor speed control. I think 4/4 that ive seen on the second gen b bodies have had burnt wires or melted rubber in the connectors on the switch. Scary stuff, I'd like to install some safety measures on mine as well. Where did you put yours?

I spreaded all around dash frame mainly because AC control switch its at driver side of dash on 3rd gens.

this is what I made.

headlight relays on kick panel area
heater speed and max speed around steering column
Min and med speed above glove box.

( will search pics )

and I didn't need to cut wires, just removed from plug, run the wire/terminal to Relay plug, and replaced the removed wire from stock wire with a jumper wire on same color. Hard to explain but will do later

took the relays power from ammeter stud, BUT that's after made some upgrades made on my charging system

Found some of the pics ( low quality sorry, they were took back in the days when a Nokia 6275 was a great phone LOL )... you'll find no relays are visible and harness seemst to be untouched with stock color wires, but pulling out the harness they appear

Thanks for the pics nacho. I'm going to follow in your footsteps. Great idea!

Not sure B5, what is the fleet package?
'69 Charger, 440/727

Nacho-RT74

I guess he meant about bypass ( or make the parallel path ) the bulkhead terminals for the Charging system to the ammeter. Tipically done on fleet cars ( Cabs, Police... ) due the added loads for extra equippemnts, using higher output alts.

I explain that on an sticky thread here.
