Yep, no bidding wars this year it seems. Next one up went for $110k. Only 18 K more than that rusted hunk sold for last month on Ebay.

How much did that F8 Green Hemi Charger 500 go for?  The website says $123K but I think that was with commission.  I'm in the market for a Bird so I'm somewhat grateful that they didn't go for more.  There are a couple of 4-BBL auto on column Birds on ebay right now north of $160K.   Crazy.

Interesting.  The car is also on e-bay.  It looks like the owner added a "buy-it-now" option for $119K which was not there yesterday.  I would have thought $119K was a great buy for such a rare car restored to that level.

Also, I thought there was a B5 or B7 six-bbl 4-speed Bird on the docket.  I was at Mecum - Harrisburg last year and the very same Bird sold for $160K.  Looked to be a good deal then.

Interesting.  The car is also on e-bay.  It looks like the owner added a "buy-it-now" option for $119K which was not there yesterday.  I would have thought $119K was a great buy for such a rare car restored to that level.

Different car.    The one on e-bay is based in the Hilton Head area, and has been on e-bay before.   The owner seemed to add the buy it now right after the one at B-J hammered.    So two data points...both lower than I would have guessed as well, certainly for the HH car.   Neither car was perfect, though the Hilton Head car is seemingly pretty close.

The B-J one sold there twice before in 2008 and 2010.   Only driven 400 miles since the last time.   It was restored in 1998 per the previous documentation.
