Interesting.  The car is also on e-bay.  It looks like the owner added a "buy-it-now" option for $119K which was not there yesterday.  I would have thought $119K was a great buy for such a rare car restored to that level.

Different car.    The one on e-bay is based in the Hilton Head area, and has been on e-bay before.   The owner seemed to add the buy it now right after the one at B-J hammered.    So two data points...both lower than I would have guessed as well, certainly for the HH car.   Neither car was perfect, though the Hilton Head car is seemingly pretty close.

The B-J one sold there twice before in 2008 and 2010.   Only driven 400 miles since the last time.   It was restored in 1998 per the previous documentation.

Kowal- did you see the HH car in person?  If so, where there any glaring flaws?

I did not see the car in person.   A friend did at Hilton Head, said it was very nice.   By my count this is the 3rd time or so it has been on e-bay with this seller over the last two years.   I always felt he was holding out for really good money so the Buy It Now number was a surprise to me.   It does look like a good car, with only a couple of details needed.   But, without seeing how it runs and looking over the body work in person, or having someone do it, it would be hard to say.

Hard to square some of the prices this weekend with things like Hagerty's valuation tool which shows a Hemi Charger 500 in #2 condition at $189K and a #3 at $139K.

From the pics of the HH car I would say it s a very solid 2 to 2+, and the B-J car is probably a high 3 to low 2, quite a discount!

Great for the buyers!   Means I am paying too much for insurance and my license fee from the state!

The HH Charger was listed previously in an auto classified site at $139K, so a $20K discount now on the Buy It Now option.
