68 Charger overflow bottle??

I'm pretty sure the 68s never came with a rad overflow bottle from the factory, mine was in the car when I got it in 1988, but is starting to fall apart. My guess is it was added sometime in the 70s.

My engine bay is all stock looking, what overflow bottle would go with that and be approx. time period correct?

Thanks!

72 was the first year for them optional or equipped o HiPo cars... 73 was the first year standard on B bodies.

Sooo a time period correct? no one.

Maybe you could get a 72 setup which mounts over the fan shroud attached with a bracket to the top of radiator core support ( over the radiator )

otherwise, an aftermarket setup

Sounds like someone hit the drag strip with it. A "catch can" was always mandatory at the one I went to (Luskville QC), but we always had an empty beer can to donate to the cause..

I use this one on my 68, I mounted it in front of the radiator on the passenger side. You will have to make brackets for it. Made mine out of some sheet metal.

nice price HUH ? LOL

the advantage with this is that is not related with any firewall shape, but fanshroud so you should be able to match it and make it look like born to it.

here is how the 72 B body system looks like with bracket over radiator ( it also gets a bottom one not visible ):

74 Challenger:

similar to the 72 setup, but bracket going to radiator core suppor between rad and batt, instead over the rad.
