Yes thats why I posted the link. My english vocabulary is not that good to explain the situation. She lives in the U.S. and is a Venezuelan comedian who post his own comedian sketches in english. As mentioned she speed up the story from 2017 or so, but this a problem who really began quite longer, not with Maduro, but with Chavez ( of course ), just that with Chavez the oil prices were high and the production was enough and represion was way softer. Now PDVSA ( state oil industry ) is broke out, with damaged refineries, production falled down from 3 millions barrels to barelly 1 million and oil prices of course don't help. Now Maduro is trapped on his own trap and that what is making to get more repression to eliminate any protest and oponents.

Many of us wanted this happened because with a broke out state those who still supported Chavez/Maduro ( which where just a few but that gave support to election frauds since ever except the first one who made Chavez to be president and it was a real one ) would see the reality of this extremelly corrupted system. Harder times will come, but it must happen.

Hmm....well we have had Sovereignty over those islands since 1690 when an English Captain John Strong made the first ever recorded landing on the islands....the Argentinians only claimed them to be theirs in about 1820 and that was only because of their close links with the Spanish (who had illegally kicked us off the island in 1770)!...They now claim they must be theirs because they are physically close to main land Argentina (a mere 1500km away....so that's like the UK claiming Iceland is part of us because its only 1400km away!!! The one blocked was build back in 2016 ( a few miles from the other ) to help on the transit between both countries which used to be a very active border. Of course private clinics are no like that, but at this moment they are also with lack of medicines, although structurally in good to perfect conditions. Anyway at this moment there is not insurance able to cover large treatments or important surgeries. My Brother  had to be hospitalized for 3 days last year and sucked out all the insurance cover just being 3 days on the emergency room. This is real, we are afraid to get sick! My mom ( allmost 78 YO ) falled down  on the street yesterday and get a hit in her nose. Fortunatelly didn't break any bone, just lot of blood. Dunno what could happen if she got any bone broken!

Sometimes private clinics are not able to offer the X ray service or any other diagnosis service because machines are begining to damage and even being private can't afford or even find the spare parts to the machines.

I don't know of any socialist country that is $22 trillion in debt like the USA is.  Almost all of that debt has been incurred during the last 40 years, which has been a very capitalistic phase of trickle-down economics, steadily rising productivity, and major wealth concentration at the top.    

I agree with some other arguments against socialism.  But this one doesn't hold up, not in real world results.  Countries are too good at getting themselves in debt regardless of the type of economy they run.    


IMO the most successful countries are doing some kind of compromise.  It ends up being well-controlled capitalism with some public safety netting like a socialist country.  They call their govts various different titles, including socialism and capitalism.  Official names don't always tell you anything.  Kim Jong's country is called the 'Democratic Republic of North Korea'.

The Concert on "Maduro's side" it is really ridiculous. Is not even being transmited by the Gobern TV because there is not enough ppl ( but just some TV takes by some reporter for couple of minutes ). Lot of artist were invited and most of them rejected the invitation.

That concert was to be in another bridge around 30 Kms from the one of the Venezuela Aid Live, but I'm petty sure was moved to find another way to block the aid from enter to the country through this bridge.

suposelly around 400 militaries ( some Generals between them ) have already crossed the border at this moment. But they are not deserters really.

We have lived a similar situation maybe 15 years ago with some militaries, but without cross the board, on a local manifestation, and that let us without ppl into the Army Forces able to be armed and with troops to defeat Maduro. More guns into the wrong hands. If you ask me, they should be still there and reveal being inside the army, but it must be a hard situation being still inside the army forces and being pressed.

well two full days without electricity in ALL Venezuela. The main hydroelectric dam failed. This dam was able to export electricity maybe 15 years ago, now is not able to source the country. Half of generators working 3 or 4 years ago and it seems something big broken now and is not sourcing anything.

I'm a bit tired of the political lies. Opposition wake up us saying the  military air base in Caracas was taken by them on a military coup, and wasn't true! Is true some miltairs revealed againts the goverment, but wasn't a coup. Once again a movement without a solid plan and more bullshit. More civilians involved being invited to protest against same goververment military power, more deaths, more hurts, more detentions. Same scenario of all these last 10 years.
