I have took the whole driver side off manifold heads all and I'm trying to pull the manifold off on the passenger side but I don't have enough room to slide the manifold off the studs because it's hitting the engine bay, do I need to try and raise the engine some or is there something I'm not doing right? Thanks

What are you working on? might be as easy as just unbolting the motor mount on the one side and jacking the engine up.

On my 68 I had to raise the pass. side of the engine to remove the HP manifold.

Yep, just remove the through bolt on the motor mount and raise the engine up. Or if you are super lucky you could double nut the studs if they are long enough and try removing the studs.
