technically they are:
"dealer announcement units"

built for a private dealership (owner/principle/salesman) pre-public availability shows, held around the country in 21 locations - late August 1969

it is "ASSUMED" there were 21 nearly identical XS29V0G cars built, one for each show location - these cars ended up at local dealerships as "DEMOs" after the "DEALER ANNOUNCEMENT SHOW"

the '72 models were introduced earlier & production started mid-July ('71) - here's the "SHOW SCHEDULE" & locations

the first day was usually dealership owners, day two was for salesmen
