So today I back my 68 charger out into the driveway and park it for an hour or so.  Go out and no start or power to interior.  I charged the battery and had autozone test it and it was 100%.  When I hooked it back up none of the usual spark from the negative terminal etc. Anybody have any ideas?  This is my first classic so I'm not that well versed yet.

Check the fusible link (large blue wire with tab) on the firewall bulkhead connector. Also check the bulkhead connector itself.

Thanks.  Just pulled it out and looking for a replacement.

Edit: Just ordered one from year one.

So assuming it tested bad?

Next question...why?

Before you install the new one and hook the battery back up you need to find out why the first one failed.

Fair point.  The fun begins.

The fusible link has to be the dumbest thing they ever put in a car.  :RantExplode:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
