I am looking to buy the replica American Racing vectors from Summit.

Has anyone else bought these?  Are you happy with them?

They are nice wheels but I prefer the originals personally. The special editions are smooth cast instead of rough cast and the rim lips are machined smooth.

I have two sets of the newer ones, they are fine and look good. yes not the original but definitely get the job done.

Note that the reproduction 8.5" wide ones have 1 inch more backspacing than the original 8.5" ones.  The new 8.5's will fit on the rear ends of Chargers but they don't clear the upper ball joint on the front ends.

okay this conversation is starting to sound familiar to me now. The wheels I got have been sitting in my garage for years.

I don't understand what the above post means regarding smooth and rough cast.

Actually Leonard......... I'll go thru old emails later today but it is possible that some of the wheels I have I may have bought from you.  if sold at the sounds familiar to you I have some questions I'd like to ask in a p.m. regarding lug nuts.

Lennard

It must have been years ago, if you bought them from me... but it is possible. P.m. me with any questions you have.

Edit: just found your old p.m. from August 2011. You did buy them from me.

2011..... Wow I've been busy/distracted.  No wonder I can't remember their history.  I will pm you.
