Hi,

as Subject says...vaccuum lines are mounted correctly, switch top vac is yellow, then green, black. Green to canister, yellow to top of actuator, black to bottom.
Each of them splitted by a T connector.
Switch is really hard press. I can open doors by hand easily. When I switch the yellow and the black line going to their T-connectors, doors will open quick, but no lights on.
A member mentioned the same problem, but his was solved by disconnecting the T connector that was falsely before the canister at the green line.
Any ideas, oder someone who had the same problem?

Chris...

Hard Charger

"switch a hard press"  Guessing you have a 68?

could be the vacuum gate behind the dash switch.

Hi,

but how to remove that vacuum gate?
yes, its a 68...
Cheers, Chris... ;)

The headlight switch can be disconnected from the vacuum gate.

If you want to rebuild it, it needs to be drilled open. I drilled and tapped it, so it can be opened again

Perhaps you can spray some WD40 in it, and see if it loosens up.

well, ok, mine is new. But there is maybe no guarantee that they are ok...
