Hi
1968 Charger
I tested the headlight door actuators with a hand vacuum pump.
They work and hold vacuum but feel like they are not moving smoothly.
Is it acceptable to squirt a lubricant into each port?
WD-40, machine oil, PB-Blaster, or something else?
I don't want it to attack a seal, if present, etc.
Thank You
John

I wouldn't do that.  50 yr old rubber diaphragm.  If it holds a vacuum, it should be good enough.
Mopar forever!

Thank you
My thought also.
I didn't want to take it apart to see what is inside.

You should be ok with a spray can of silicone lub.

That I have
Thanks
Do you know what it looks like inside?
It appears to have some spring loading and quite a bit of movement.
