I took a look at the video and grabbed some still shots so others could get an idea what he is working on. Looking forward to seeing pictures when it is done, although the build itself looks entertaining.

Good. The 71-72 Road Runner needs all the help that it can get.

I'm genuinely excited for this. The 71-72 Plymouth is my close second favorite muscle car.

They look so good when stanced correctly. If I ever hit the Powerball a fast 8 GTX is going in my garage.

I had a buddy that was the original owner of a '71 Road Runner. I never liked his car. He had 235-60-15s on it and it always looked like a big man with tiny feet. The body overhang on the car was horrendous. Also, the area under the bumpers front and rear seem like a boat, tapered more than I like. I prefer the blunt nose ans tail of the 68-70 Charger.
I will admit though that wide tires DO help the appearance of many cars. A 66-67 Charger is not my favorite either but if the tires are pushed out wide to the edge of the body, it looks SO much better!

Kern Dog Here is a picture of a body over a Chrysler 300 a guy in Canada did similar to my Daytona. I agree that filling out the body on the 71 with wider rubber is the ticket to making them look more balanced.

I absolutely LOVE that red car....except for the '68 style taillights. Just my opinion.
The front bumper mods and grille will add a cool touch to this project.  Better stance with wider and greater offset wheels really make the car.

Steve's car blew me away. I was shocked at how great it came out. It made me back track on my words. Excellent work!

71 GTX is a better buy now than a Charger?

All this color for only $27,000...

I suppose Colour has a great deal to do with style and the 'lack of choice' in the 60's?

So '70 and up Guys' had so much more fun...

Seriously impressive work!

I agree. The car looks fantastic.
.          Thanks guys. I thought it was gonna be easy because it was not a complete body swap. Turned out to be about the same amount of effort.
