I'm replacing the rubber bushings on my 74's torsion bar crossmember with poly. The manual says to torque the bolts to 75 ft lbs. Is this the same when using poly?

AKcharger

Not sure about torque but when I did the front end on my '72 with polys it squeeks all the time..wish I would have went with rubber

Rubber wasn't available for the crossmember. Hopefully it won't squeek, since it's not really a moving part .

Non-moving you should be fine. For me i lubed up the polly bushings per instructions..no good. Theyre solid ..but squeeky
