Have any of you used an Arduino to log information from multiple sources?

I am thinking something like logging the 5V output on the tach and the 5V output on an A/F gauge, and any other 5V outputs one might include.

It seems to me this might be a very inexpensive alternative to some other ways to tackle this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I have not thought about using one for data logging - although I use them for some other small projects. I bought a whole mess of thumbnail sized Arduinos specifically for adding features to my cars.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Thanks.  I still need to get the power set up for the Arduino (something lost in shipping).  I will let you know whether I manage to make it work. I haven't done anything with it yet....
