Just an idea

I was looking at the Superbird convertible thread and began to wonder...

Anyone ever made a wing car from a 70 Super Bee? Seems like it would work. (And surely I can't be the first one to think of this.)

Never heard of it but it is an interesting idea.  A local guy whose father owend the Plymouth dealership here back in the day had a Superbird wing on a Satellite that he drove as a demo back in the early 70's so ther must be someone somewhere who did it to a Coronet or a Bee.

seen a pic of one somewhere, might even have been on here

yeah that would look cool ona vert , a full cone wing car looks good but kinda funky with a big nose stickin out on a  nice convertible, the wing looks just as cool,be cool to see a wing ona 68 or 69 runner vert-MATT

At least with the 70 coronet, you would already have the correct fenders and hood. Of course the fenders and hood would have to be modified just like they would if installed on a 70 runner. Would love to see a photoshop of that. I have a chance to buy a solid 70 coronet pretty cheap. I just might try that later on. ;D

Actually -- I at one time planned on finding a nice 69 Coronet R/T convertible and making a Clonetona using the fenders, hood, nose and wing from my Charger 500 that was cloned to a Daytona. I still might if I don't get what I need from the Clontona.
