Motor looks like its sitting crooked in the engine bay.

My kinda car, not too shiny. It's only original once and although it has had work I bet there is a lot to be learned. I'd love to see it in person. :Twocents:

Sure there are things wrong with it.
However it's a Daytona Charger that seems to be fairly solid and it is listed with a reasonable buy it now / open to offers price.
Certainly, not having its original engine and transmission hurts its value but it is a 50 year old car and shit does happen over a half of a century.
I have seen threads here where people get excited over rusted out garbage.
Personally I don't think $135K is that far out of line as far as a buy it now price.
Anyone want to speculate on a make an offer price.
If I were interested in doing so I would probably start somewhere in the neighborhood of $120K-$125K pending a good look over.
Just my two cents, Sincerely Vic

If I was looking for another project I would seriously consider this one even at the buy it now price. In general it looks to be a pretty decent car, reasonable description of condition, needs and what has been done,I've seen worse for more money. :Twocents:

regardless of condition, it's one of the few current chances to join an ownership group with fewer than five hundred members

that the price of admission is less than 125k for such a solid looking car is a bonus.

usually the hit sets you back another fifty large or better. one could drive this car as is.

yes, it needs work and has some incorrect /replacement pieces, but one would know what they had in the end

allen's car brought 95k and is several thousands of dollars away from being able to drive it.

the only other project car recently available in this range is keith bakers, which amazingly has not been snapped up already at under 90k

to add perspective, i was offered similar money as these last two for my own car, which helps show the ebay car is well worth the asking price.

Definitely looks pretty decent .

My question is , does anyone have any history of this car?

mopar346

Not every car has to be restored, I'd make sure it's safe and drive the devil out of it, maybe even correct a few things in time.

62 Max

A good inside and outside cleaning would probably make it more presentable than you may expect.

I'm no Daytona expert and am certainly not picking the car apart, but is that a 70 Charger hood? I don't see the reinforcing ribs at the front. I thought Daytona hoods didn't have them?

Not surprising, someone may not have even chanced losing out by submitting a best offer

Everytbody is talking like it's a unrestored original car. with the whole engine compartment repainted & other stuff I don't think it's that original. looks like the whole car gone threw a low budget 1980's resto. :shruggy:

Didn't think it would last long.
