Apple auctioneering co just concluded their big collector car repo auction and one superbird went relatively cheap. RM23VOA170197  WENT FOR     $107,500.00     PETTY BLUE W WHITE VINYL TOP .    the other two birds went for  155 k and 157 k   the Daytona went for 224 k    a v code 70 challenger went for less then 50k  a 70 hemicuda went for $175 k -- most of the other vintage muscle cars went for about what you would expect.

It is my understanding that the Petty Blue Superbird was poorly restored and a bit rough.
As far as the yellow bird I believe it went for 155K which was all the money and then some for a 440-4 barrel automatic car.
No deals at that auction IMO.

That Petty Blue car is originally a B5 blue car. I saw it at Barrett-Jackson when the DC Solar guy bought it. It is in terrible condition yet he paid top dollar and then some. Things I saw immediately were the quarter skins and wheel houses hung on the car crooked. That was just the beginning. So I think 107 was too much as well.
