My throttle cable on my 69 charger is sticking, and or binding up. I have to pull on the linkage on the carb really hard to get it to come back. I tried to spray lube in it but it didn't work. I know that this cable is not correct for my car but is the factory one correct with my application. I have a 383 with edlebrock carb and intake on it.  I have attached a pic of the one I took out of the car. it measured about 24" which is factory length if I read correctly. I am in need of a new one. I did think about pulling the one off my super bee but i'll need one again. is there a vendor you guys think is best for me. thanks.

I bought a longer one for my car off ebay.  It was advertised as being for a B body with big block but it was just a little longer for use with taller intakes.  You may not need the added length on a low deck 383 though.  :shruggy:

I have used Lokar setups on many cars with good results.

Does the brackets matter. I'll take a pic and try to add it.

here is the set up. the throttle cable goes though the top part and the kick down as shown. would a factory cable work in this application?

That's nothing like my 70's setup.  :shruggy:

I figured that. Any idea where to get what I need to get back to factory or what I need for the set up I have. It's a edelbrock carb. I'm guessing I need a new kick down cable as well to work with new brackets.
