When it comes to option breakdowns and production number a lot of people confuse the numbers that one registry or person may have in regards to a set of options. But, all that is is the number of cars that has crossed paths with that particular registry or person,  it isn't hard production numbers from MaMopar. Many of the records that Chrysler had were burned up forever in a fire back in the 70's if I recall correctly.

Nice combo; R/T SE 4speed... nice..  weird as it sounds apparently there were no R/T SEs in 69 equipped with the 426 Hemi.

That's definitely weird news to me ?

So there were NO R/T SE's in 1969 that came factory equipped with the 426 Hemi ?

Not according to Chrysler's engineering graphics / factory paperwork.  I can't explain the reason why this is the case, but it's definitely spelled out that A47 and E74 are not available in combination (applies to the 1969 model year only).  This is referenced in multiple documents, which rules out a simple typo.

Thanks so much for responding,  :2thumbs:, so glad you are here and willing to share your vast wealth of knowledge about these cars... Thx again !

Then I guess the 440 Magnum was Top Dawg in the 1969 Charger R/T SE's.... good to know !

since $38 worth of the $162 SE package was the "deep dish" wheel covers (14" ONLY) & 14" wheels were not available on HEMI cars for 1969 - the A47 package was simply "NOT/AVAILABLE" w/HEMI

:scratchchin:  maybe a discounted $124 SE package for HEMI cars ONLY didn't work well for marketing or the bean counters   :shruggy:

The Red Book also states that.

"A47 Charger Special Edition Package (NA w/426 ci)"
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
