Any way to track down the original selling dealer of a Superbird, or at least what state it was shipped to. Trying to find information on my bird prior to 1973. Car #1088 on the shipping list.

Thanks!

O'k, I was pretty sure on the answer but thought I'd ask just to be certain. Good to here about the old Bee. It was a very good car to do. Thanks!

I am not familiar with the "State Allocation for Superbird List". Unless you mean the 11-6-1969 Morzak memo that shows by "Region" for a total of 1850 cars (image shown here).  Do you mean that list or is there another list by States?  Speaking of "States", the "Nov 11 1850 Bird List" does not mention any Canadian cars, so the 1850 total does not mean actual total built.

I did a quick keyword search ("allocation" and other words) of this site and they lead to another site for the "Nov 11 1850 Bird List".

I would think this 1850 total could be argued because of few reasons (dated before the total number of converted cars was known, amount of VON's assigned, no export, etc.).  I'd like to see how the 1850 total affects total 'Bird discussion rather than start a new one on this thread. So any links would be appreciated.
