So I was going back over season 1 and trying to spot all the Chargers in the show, and there is a lot of them, when something caught my eye.

That 2nd Gen there that has a stock car cage in it.

Has #84 on the roof and what appears to be KLR Towing.

Does anyone know the history of this car? In the back of my mind I'm wondering if this might be the remains of my father's old '70 R/T  :shruggy:

I know his was used in the "One Lap of America" and then raced on the dirt tracks down in the Okanagan region of BC and from there last I heard it was sitting in some farmer's field and supposedly very little of it was left. But there can't be too many 2nd gen cars that had stock car cages here in BC was there?  :icon_smile_big:

I have the VIN number although last I heard the dash was long gone and the front appears to be mostly gone. I fired them a message anyways but never heard back. Figured someone here though might know the history of that #84 car.

I was there back in August and looked closely at that car. It was originally a 383 powered '68.
