has made the announcement
that a local brewery has de-
cided to back racing . A
Plymouth Superbird car will be
awarded to some lucky driver
in New York State. The plan at
present is this: At certain tracks
if a driver wins a feature race,
modified or charger, his name
is put in a hat. At the end of
the season a name is drawn
and the winner gets the Super-
bird. Some prize! More details
will be announced later.

I searched "superbird white" and got one hit.  Interesting wording and a gun shop has it.

Not sure how a private seller had a 'Bird for sale before Nov 11 1969.  (EDIT 12/6/19: actually a 1970 newspaper, not 1969)

Looking at my timeline, 10/22/1969 was first day of production (I am unclear at this time if that is just the 1920 list date: I just started my time line gathering of data - sorry).

Looks like the ad above is dated Nov 11, 1970...not 1969

(I was just seeing if anyone was paying attention - lol)

I didn't catch that.  The short description on the links I clicked before that link said 1969, explaining why (at least to me) I believed it a 1969 newspaper.  I just retraced my steps and the link to above ad was listed "1970-71".  I even cut an pasted the 1970 date and didn't realize.  Guess a double check would have paid off; or bigger computer monitor! - thanks for pointing out my error.  I edited my original post.
