Seat backings

What color are the backs of the 1970 charger seats and hinge covers?  Interior and bucket seats are black.  Wondering if it is a satin black for the backs and maybe a semigloss black on the covers.  Thanks.

Sorry I can't help with the exact finish Mark.  Either way I expect they should both be the same.  Usually match all the other interior plastic parts.  My '74 was originally gold interior but I wanted it black.  This product works very well and is readily available.  I found using the flat black for a base coat then going back with a light gloss coat provided a semi-gloss finish.  Here's the web link...    https://www.duplicolor.com/product/vinyl-and-fabric-coating/

"Charcoal" for 70 instead of pure black. Backs and covers mid luster plastic shine on my B5 blue car.

Try cleaning them with Scrubbing Bubbles for showers first. Spray on, use one of those plastic needle nose brushes off a can of carpet cleaner and wipe. You might be amazed once the dirt is out of the grain!

The SEM landau black paint for plastics looks real nice on the B body interior parts.
