70 440 hp six pack oil pan

Anyone know how height of a factory six pack 6 quart oil pan? Mine measures 5 inches from rail to bottom of sump. Trying to determine if I have one. No numbers on pan

Yep, 5" is correct. Have a look on 440 source's site, they have a pic of their repo 6 pack pan. I did post up a pic of a 6 pack pan on here a couple of years ago when someone was looking for a pickup picture.

In '70 B and E-bodies, the 440-4, 440-6 and Hemi all used the same pan.

Is pan height a good measurement for determining if its a 6 pack pan?
