I have a couple around here somewhere, I did an alignment on it back in the early 90s where Raffi and tha car were here in the Seattle area. Yes, I got to drive it.

One of the Mopar rags had a cover pic of the car, years ago. Can't remember which one. I'll have to dig through them and find it.

I will have to go through my albums. I took a couple of shots of the car when it was up at our Mopar Madness show in the Vancouver area. I recall that they looked funny with their helmets on driving away.. If I recall correctly, the rear area was partitioned off from the front seats by just plywood. I'll post if I find them

THE CHARGER PUNK

i must admit the 68 version looks better they should never changed it to that ''super charger''-MATT

I have many photos of the car and met the guy who owned it in 1991 in Washington at a car show before it was restored after being found for so many years in hidding. I liked it at the time, very different, but not something I'd keep, I'd sell it. The photos I have of it are in 4 x 6 not online unfortunately, sorry. I had a chance for a ride in it even from where it was getting repair work done on it, but I wasn't interested. Sure , its a rare car, but thats just it, its just another car to me. If you like I can make some reprints of it for you, let me know.

Do you think it might be possible for you to scan those pictures, and post them here?
Please?

Maybe the pointed nose version is a 70? The person is blocking the center of the top grille, but note the blunt nose version has two different year headlight doors. Pay attention to the emblem positions. You can also see the bottom one has the '68 stripe and the top has a '69 style.

1968

It is obviously all the same car, just mods done to reflect the year changes. Like the 70 high back seats, but still maintaining the original '68 dash pad.

THE CHARGER PUNK

jim shine u are correct on that lady blocking the ''I'' piece, the car did change briefly into a 69 r/t b4 the 70 supercharger it went from a blue 68 stripe to a red 69 one-MATT

Heres a Interesting fact few know. The 70 SuperCharger had a early 70's cameo appearance in a movie. Can anybody name the Movie? LEON.

Beats me. :popcrn:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Just a bit of Photoshop "magic" going on here. Obviously, there's no way to get this picture, as this is the same car, just before and after. ;D

they also removed the mirrors and vented the '70 style hood, notice the paint is forward and straight back with out the factory option's style rear curves, they also extended the center line a couple inches too, a cool touch...
Well,..  they sure got their $ worth outta' that puppy.
how'd ya like to have to pararlel park it with out the mirrors?..  :o

Magnumcharger

Didn't forget the 1969 variation...just too lazy to include it! :icon_smile_evil:
So I did this one up instead. Got rid of that old coot in front too.

I can't imagine somebody taking the original picture, and publishing it with the front obscured as it was.

The difference from the 1968 to 1969 versions are subtle.
The rear stripe was changed in design, the taillights and rear panel are swapped out, the side marker relectors are in place, and obviously the grille has changed.
I'm thinking the interior must have been upgraded to 1969 status along with everything else.

That orange daytona looking charger belongs to a guy on this site that lives in Rhode Island.  I saw it on the road once and nearly creamed my pants. It's a very interesting story how he made it
