Hey Fellas,

I'm going to check out a stalled project on Monday and as I sold my last '69 about fourteen years ago, I'm a little rusty (pun intended) on the typical problem areas to watch for.  All Mopars of this era seem to suffer from the same trunk, lower quarter, window channel, rocker etc. issues but is there anything unique to the Charger I should be looking for ?

Thanks,
Pete

The rear window channel takes a beating because of that design.

The 69/70 taillight panels also tend to get eaten up more than you'd expect.  Like right around the taillights.

Beyond that stuff it's just a standard muscle-era Mopar body.

Regional thing can happen depending on where car is or was.  Tail light panel traditional in my area has not been a problem, or more specifically only a problem after other problem areas noted below.
- bottom of rear window.
- back valance
-bottom of 1/4s with outer wheel house
- trunk because of the first item leaking
- below battery perhaps
- Front floor at gas pedal first eventually rear floors too.
- That being said seen on line north cars if have more like roof, fenders, tons of other places... etc etc..  Front edge of a fender for example would "never" ok hardly be a problem for some areas.

good luck.

Thanks fellas.  I did pick the car up and while it has really good bones, there is a bit of hackery here and there.  The biggest issue I'm facing right now is the car came to me in boxes and as I didn't take it apart and as the previous owner did not catalog anything, it's going to be a tough slog figuring out what is missing.

If this was a '68 RoadRunner, I could do this in my sleep, but a Charger is a mystery to me.
