Looks GREAT!

Thanks.  I cant wait to start putting her back together.  I went with a one stage concept paint that is the modern day equivalent to the original PPG  with today's technology.  $1500.00 per gallon it should be good stuff! Two more coats, sand, buff and she will be standing tall.

Mopar John

John,
At least most of that paint will stay with the car.
I think I calculated that about $1,500.00 worth of sealer, primer etc. ended up on the floor or in the air!
Looking great though!

might have been easier painting it on the floor, instead of hanging on the wall.  :nana:

Looks good, but it must have been tough not having the paint slide off the sideways car.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Thanks fellas.  I just finished the vinyl roof and it came out PERFECT  ALMOST :brickwall:.  My quarter trim pieces were still at the paint shop so I guessed where the vinyl came to like an idiot, instead of waiting for sure.  Do I need to say anything else?  Well I ripped it off and a new one is on its way from Legendary.  I ain't afraid to admit to mistakes, But why do I have to admit sooooooo much! LOL.  At least I finished the headliner and it IS perfect!

Well that certainly sucks!!... and to make it worse I'm going to tell you that the top's trim edge and the L should be Black.

Some folk were asking what paint I am using.  Here it is:  As advised by my PPG guy.  I got it thru API.  Concept DCC 2211 Acrylic Urethane  Lemon Twist.

Golden-Arm

wow, the horizontal paint can explains why you hung it on the wall to paint it.   :icon_smile_tongue:

Man that looks great! Looks like your stay in paint jail was short lived.
