Wondering if it used to be a Vinyl Top ? as I see the "trim" on the C pillar.... or did all '69 Charger's have that c-pillar trim regardless ?

On 68-70 Chargers, only the vinyl roof cars had that trim. So you are correct about it having a vinyl top originally. Unless someone added the trim because they liked the look.
